Mamaw's Visit

Nick's Mom came to visit us over the memorial day weekend. We had lots of fun hanging with Mamaw at home, at the pool, at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Carowinds Amusement Park and celebrating her birthday over dinner and hugs. Happy birthday to a wonderful Mother and Grandma! We can't wait to see you again this summer!

Last Day of Her First Year of Three Year Old Preschool

Violet's last day of school was fun, entertaining and just a regular day for her and her classmates. No long graduation ceremony, certificate, or sad goodbyes for the three year olds at Grace Presbyterian. They sang songs, ate pizza and watermelon, and played outdoor games while enjoying fresh lemonade and popsicles. A perfect ending to Violet's first year of school.

Last T-Ball Weekend

Max and Violet ended their t-ball season this last weekend. After Max's game Friday night, we headed to our church's Italian Fest where Max climbed the rock wall and we all had way too much pasta and meatballs. Saturday morning we cheered on Violet's team during their last game and praised Coach Nick for his patience handling 11 kids!

I unfortunately didn't catch Max's first at-bat where he hit off of Nick. A for effort his second time around!

Handing out trophies.

Cincinnati

Teddy and me took a quick trip to Cincinnati to attend the wedding shower of our future sister-in-law, Jen. Teddy ran around with his big cousins all day while the girls celebrated with fun games, lots of wine, good food and great company. It was such a pleasure to spend time with the Ober ladies and my sisters-in-law and couldn't be more excited for the wedding this July! Thank you to Mark and Brenda for having us!

Preschool Send Off

Today, Violet's preschool class took to the stage to perform a few songs they've been singing and dancing to all year long. Her first year of school is almost over and she loved every single minute of it.

After the big show, Violet and her classmates had one last performance for us.
