Quite the Collection

After school, Max spent all afternoon sorting his massive baseball/football/basketball card collection. He even scolded me a few times for putting the wrong cards in the wrong piles. He frighteningly has the mental capacity already to remember the smallest details with regards to sports and players - something both his dad and Grampy possess as well!

Over the Past Month

It's been a looong time since I've posted any new pictures here, so I'll do a quick recap of what we've been up to over the past month.

Easter weekend, we drove to Detroit to celebrate the wedding of Nick's first cousin, Catherine. We had lots of fun swimming in the hotel pool (Teddy's first swim). Even though we found out after getting back home that all three kids had ear infections, we still managed to enjoy our time with family.

Teddy turned 9 months old at the end of March. He weighed in at 19 lbs, 8 oz and 29 1/2" tall (the height of an average 14 month old according to the doctor!) At nine months, Teddy is very quick in his crawl, pulling himself up on furniture, boxes, stairs (basically anything that would give me a heart attack)! But, overall, he's still our happy, laid-back baby boy who loves watching his brother and sister run mad. Oh, and most importantly, he's sleeping!!!!!!!!!!!

Last weekend, we took a short trip to the Milwaukee County Zoo. Despite the cooler, wet weather, the kids really enjoyed seeing the wildlife, that is until a couple grizzly bears gave Max the evil eye!

While we were watching the two bears play together, some old lady decided it would be fun to throw candy at them. That's when they started giving us onlookers a nasty look, "like if I could jump over that fence, I'd be more than happy to make you my afternoon snack."
