Videos From Inside the House

Yesterday, I took videos of each floor of our house. As you can see, there is nothing left from the tear down of damaged walls, floors, and ceilings. Fortunately, our clothes and most of the furniture from the second and first floors were spared. It is all going through an ozone cleaning process for the next several weeks. On the bright side, we are moving into a rental home only a few blocks away from our "normal home", so we hope to still have a fun summer with friends. Thank you again to everyone for your support and kind wishes. It has meant the world to us!

Violet Graduates Preschool

With tears streaming down my face (and a reminder from Nick that she's just graduating preschool), we watched Violet and her classmates perform their end of the year program at Grace Presbyterian Preschool.

Swimming

It's only been a few weeks since the pool has opened, so I was shocked to see how confident Violet has become in the pool this season. It was only a few months ago that she barely touched the surface of the water with her face.

Easter, Jack-o-Lanterns, and a Movie Date

Our impromptu easter egg hunt. With just returning from spring break, our Easter plans included macaroni and cheese and this.

Max lost his first tooth after letting Nick give it a little extra tug one night.

While Max was in school last week, I took Teddy and Violet to see HOME. While Teddy enjoyed the popcorn, reese's pieces and lemonade, he wasn't so fond of having to sit for over an hour.

So this is where he ended up for the last half. Thankfully, the theater was pretty empty.

Spring Breakers

For spring break this year, we drove down to Anna Maria Island (about 45 min south of Tampa) and met up with our entire Ober family. With 8 adults, 7 kids and 1 baby on the way, it was a week-long adventure that we all enjoyed! On the way home, we stopped in Savannah to break up the trip and have one last day of exploring before heading home.

One hour too long in the car for this kid.

Hotel rooms are like jungle gyms for these guys.

Made it to FL and she couldn't wait to jump in the pool.

Our hotel in Savannah and quite possibly the most honest depiction of our kids individually. Just sayin.

This chess man was astounded by the giant sized game.

The look of horror after Nick came out of a candy store WITHOUT any treats for them. They did just finish ice cream though!

Only 8 more weeks of school left! Help me...
