South Side Visit

It was a crazy afternoon when my whole family and their kids invaded Hegewisch and stuffed our faces with Big Nani's homemade gnocchis. Unfortunately, the fun didn't last long for poor Violet who suddenly came down with a stomach bug and fever. So, we packed back up and headed home for the night. Although we had to leave early and unexpectedly, we still had a great time playing and catching up with all our cousins.

Big sister was supposed to be "helping" me give Teddy a bath, but instead jumped right in with him. 

She kept him happy and smiling, so I guess she did help after all!

Read Repeat

Violet has always requested the same books read to her over and over and over again. So much so, she can practically read them to herself now.

Seven Months

Teddy's seventh month has brought some new "firsts" for him. He's starting to lunge/scoot/crawl to get something out of his reach. He sadly had an ear infection which left an unhappy baby for a couple weeks. And, he/we are done nursing and happy to guzzle a bottle all day. Aside from his lack of sleeping all night (something I've resigned to just accept) he is one happy, healthy and fun little man.
