Easter Weekend

We hosted our first family holiday on Saturday with Grandmas and Grandpas, Aunts and Uncles and a cute little cousin. After several hours of cleaning up after everyone left Saturday night (I thought it was a good idea to use our fine china for the first time - and quickly regretted that decision after seeing the piles of dishes), we kept Easter Sunday low key by attending an early mass, eating out for breakfast and a family nap afterwards. It was a perfect weekend.

An Early Visit from the Easter Bunny

Park Place

It was a gorgeous day outside, which of course meant that both kids thought it would be good to take a 3-hr nap! After they awoke, we headed out for some fun in the sun.

Grandpa Richard came to visit us yesterday while Nick is out of town for work. And, Max took full advantage of his playmate for the day. Rather than putting his stickers on paper, he's discovered the human body is way more fun.

Scavenger Hunt

Max set out on a scavenger hunt armed with a bucket and pictures of what he was searching for. With little to no plant-life, it was difficult to come up with unique items to find. Luckily, we have four different colors of mulch!

We're Getting There

Temperatures are slowly, but surely warming up. When it rises above 45 degrees (too few and far between), we're out the door!
