This Was the Crazy Before the Holidays Even Started

Since we're always traveling on Christmas, we had Santa Claus come early again this year, only about a week though! Legos, trucks, a new Frozen dress and a very heavy air hockey table (that at 10pm on a Friday night found Nick and me lugging it up three flights of stairs and rearranging the toy room just to fit it - man these kids thought Santa was so slick) were the highlight of our "Christmas morning" surprise.

Topping off the day with a trip to see Santa Claus and crazy fun in the bathtub.

Preschool Christmas Show

Teddy (he's in the back) and his class waiting for the show to start.

Last week, Violet came from school and announced she was the STAR of the show. I of course responded, "Oh yes, sweetie you're all stars!" Well, she was accurate. Violet was literally the star IN the show!

A Few Random

The Sunday we got back from Thanksgiving, we headed out to pick out our Christmas tree.

This little stinker is ready for some freedom in the car. He always want to ride in the big boy seats (and yes, he's wearing head phones - my little hip hop star).

Birthday parties and fun with friends.

St. Nick gave us all tickets to see Frozen on Ice in Greensboro, NC (about an hour and half away). If any parents are considering, I'd highly recommend it. Very entertaining for us all.

A little too much Frozen for them to handle.

The next morning, Violet woke up with a fever and spent the day at home, but is feeling better now. She didn't dare miss her Christmas show at school this week.

Our Elf hiding in Max's stocking. If you couldn't tell, these next few pictures were taken by the kids.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, we traveled to Lake Norris, TN where we met up with all our cousins, brothers, sisters-in-laws and parents. All 15 of us stayed in a cabin in the middle of the woods overlooking the lake. It was a beautiful, peaceful setting - minus the 7 kids running around like animals!
